Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programs

The province of Ontario hosts the city of Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. The province is the leading destination of choice of new migrants coming to Canada due to its strategic location where job opportunities and income are high. It is an economic hub where newcomers can maximise their chances of employment, settlement and professional advancement.

Similar with other Canadian provinces, Ontario boasts a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) which is referred to as OINP or the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. The program is composed of different Streams wherein it strategically targets migrants with the right skills, education and experience needed by the province. Through the OINP, migrants and their families considering to stay permanently in Canada and who are eligible and applies for any of the OINP streams may be issued a Provincial Nomination wherein the applicant will have more than enough points to apply for permanent residency on the federal level of the Government of Canada.
